The Federal Women's Program Managers' Council was established to enhance employment and advancement opportunities for women in the Federal workplace.
Accordingly, the program seeks:
- to eradicate every form of sex discrimination from personnel policies, procedures, practices, and working conditions;
- to utilize to the fullest extent possible the present skills of women in the workforce;
- to ensure equal opportunity for women to enhance their skills through career counseling, on-the-job training, work study programs, and other training measures in order that they perform at their highest potential and advance in accordance with their abilities.
