27TH ANNUAL QUAD EEO
TRAINING CONFERENCE
"WE KNOW EEO"
Dear FEB Members and Associates:
Don't miss this opportunity to attend the largest EEO training conference in the western United States! Send your supervisors and managers, EEO and diversity practitioners, special emphasis program managers, and human resources managers and staff to hear our dynamic speakers and participate in our broad range of fascinating workshops. The Quad Conference is jointly sponsored by the San Francisco Bay Area Federal Executive Board's four EEO Councils, and this year's Conference Host is the Federal Women's Program Managers Council.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
In a two-hour special opening plenary session on Wednesday September 2, EEOC and CAP presenters will roll out EEOC's Lead Initiative: Improving the Participation Rate of People with Targeted Disabilities in the Federal Workforce. Workshop highlights include: EEO Counselor Refresher Update (certificate of completion provided); The ADA Amendments Act of 2008; Reprisal, the Cost of Revenge; Ethical Challenges and Moral Courage in the Workplace; Healing the Post-Harassment Environment; Conflict and the Mediation of Conflict; MSPB Practice Tips; and much, much more! For the first time this year, on Thursday September 3, the two Plenary Sessions and one track of our five concurrent workshops (a morning and two afternoon sessions) will consist of a forum devoted to combat veterans concerns.
