Don't miss this opportunity to attend the largest EEO training conference in the western United States! Send your supervisors and managers, EEO and diversity practitioners, special emphasis program managers, and human resources managers and staff to hear our dynamic speakers and participate in our broad range of fascinating workshops. The Quad Conference is jointly sponsored by the San Francisco Bay Area Federal Executive Board's four EEO Councils, and this year's Conference Host is the Disabled Opportunity Council.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
In our opening plenary session on Wednesday September 1, CAP Director Dinah Cohen (confirmed keynote speaker) will enlighten us on new and traditional CAP Initiatives: facilitating participation in the federal workforce of civilians and returning war veterans with disabilities; partnering with federal agencies to accommodate employees with disabilities. Workshop highlights include: EEO Counselor Refresher Update (certificate of completion provided); The ADA Amendments Act of 2008; Reasonable Accommodation Under the ADA As Amended; Mock Mediation; Mock Hearing; Combat Veterans Concerns; Unlearning Racism; Ethical Challenges and Moral Courage in the Workplace; Gay/Lesbian and Transgender Issues; and much, much more!
